KACIE DOYLE, "THERE ARE ONLY TWO EMOTIONS THAT BELONG IN THE SADDLE: ONE IS A SENSE OF HUMOR AND THE OTHER IS PATIENCE."

    WHY THIS RIDER?

Kacie is a young professional rider, working hard to reach her goals and ride the top level.

As she says : "The horses ALWAYS come first for me. I have been a barn rat since I can remember, and any time at the barn is time well spent. As a rider, my goal is always to give the horse a confident ride, while allowing them to have fun and enjoy their job. I am a very loud and outgoing person, and I love to have fun. Usually you’ll see me laughing, or being silly and making other people laugh."

    WHY HORSE PILOT?

"Horse pilot is a no brainer company. They never sacrifice safety and technology over style and yet still manage to make all their products sleek and classic."

    KACIE'S FAVORITE

""My favorite product so far would have to be the aeromesh hunt cott. They are so lightweight and comfortable, plus I love that the buttons are magnetic which makes them easy to put on and take off.""

    ANY RITUAL?

"When I get nervous I usually try to set aside about 10 minutes to myself before I show, and use a competition meditation from the headspace app. I have a very busy mind, so the app really helps me calm my nerves and my brain so I can think clearly and focus on riding. I also have a habit that I developed from the eq ring where I literally to a little “shake it off” move right before I walk in the ring. It sort of signifies the idea of shaking the nerves off."

    A MANTRA?

I actually have two main ones :

    • " There are only two emotions that belong in the saddle: one is a sense of humor and the other is patience. "

    • " Be humble enough to suck for as long as it takes you to become better. "

    GOALS

"My primary goal is to continue learning and getting better and more confident at the higher levels. It seems broad, but as an investment horse rider, I only have certain windows of time to learn each horse and present them the best I can. I love watching other top professionals ride, and try to use their techniques in my riding. To me, seeing and doing/ recreating is how I learn best."
