The body temperature of the rider varies very considerable. When heat builds up, it can become uncomfortable unless it is allowed to escape. Aerotech uses the speed of the rider to optimise ventilation engaging in sport. The principle is simple: use the airflow to improve internal ventilation, as numerous applications have done before: In vehicles, aeronautics or in items like caps.
Our designers studied the aerodynamic features of the rider engaging in sport.
They used this information to map out the ideal areas for air intake and escape. We used breathable materials for these areas, with properties that also enhance the comfort of the garment itself: suppleness, stretch, durability and comfort, while preventing the wind from blowing through.
This technology is used in our competition garments, Aerotech jacket & Aerial shirts, as well as the Storm outdoor jacket or the Aerotech Saddle Pad .
