The Celsius jacket was designed to provide warmth where the rider needs it most: on the chest, the shoulders and the back
The duck down/polyester insulation mix provides a good weight/warmth ratio, along with the 'puffiness' of the down. The design has been reworked for a better fit. The back is longer, covering the thighs when on horseback, and the shaped fit follows the rider's movements. The fabric, with a waterpoof/breathable membrane (10K/10K), and the quilting are effective barriers against the cold. A new feature is the hood, which can be tucked away in the collar for a more streamlined ride.
