After the success of its first traditional cable airbag, Horse Pilot aspired to innovate once again and set itself the challenge of creating a fully electronic airbag to offer more comprehensive protection. Thus, after eight years of research and development alongside In&Motion, a company specialising in fall detection and personal protection, the E-Twist'Air airbag was born.

The E-Twist'Air Airbag is a real revolution in safety! The first autonomous, cable-free airbag in the equestrian world, it is free from any constraints associated with leashes, preventing accidental activation.

It is the only airbag that protects against falls with the horse and has a faster activation speed than traditional cable airbags. In addition, it ensures a more even distribution of forces thanks to its front release mechanism, thus offering enhanced safety.

Unlike traditional cable airbags, the E-Twist'Air airbag covers all fall scenarios thanks to its advanced detection algorithm: falls from a horse, falls from the mounting block and falls with the horse, which are among the most dangerous in horse riding.

This vest protects the rider's vital areas: the chest, abdomen, neck and back. Biomechanics researchers at In&Motion have demonstrated that a back protector enhances the effectiveness of the protection. That is why the E-Twist'Air airbag incorporates a Level 2 certified back protector (R-Zro) that further improves its protection. This back protector distributes the impact over a larger area, reducing the effects of direct impact and thus ensuring optimal safety.
