For all our garments, we recommend washing them only when necessary.
Machine washing contributes to the wear of materials, fasteners, velcro, zips and other finishes. They are also major consumers of water and energy.
Detergent water is believed to be responsible for more than a third of the plastic microparticles found in the oceans. To avoid worsening this last finding, we recommend using these filtering wash bags: Guppyfriend Washing Bag. - Use environmentally friendly detergents
Preferably use gentle detergents, also called shampoo, free from enzymes that attack fabric fibres.
