A place with a refined design capable of fading away to give riders the freedom to gather, express themselves and unite to form a horde. This is why we chose the sand quarry of Bourron-Marlotte, a place steeped in history.
A setting that is both lunar and desert-like
Composed of white sand of very high purity, brought about thirty million years ago by the sea, the quarry supplies the greatest equestrian events in the world such as the London 2012 Olympics, Rio 2016 or in 2017 at the FEI European Dressage Championship in Sweden. Its refined design and its functionality in riding practice make the sand quarry of Bourron-Marlotte the ideal place to give way to imagination and self-expression.
It is in this setting, both lunar and desert-like, that riders and horses were able to let their nomadic and creative spirits express themselves to write the story of La Horde.
