DISCOVER OUR TUTORIAL CREATED IN COLLABORATION WITH IN&MOTION

Discover our complete video on the subject, as well as detailed explanations in images.

When you change your gas cartridge, use a clean environment and never bring your fingers near the pistons.

Only replace the refill with an IN&MOTION refill compatible with the TWIST'AIR airbag. Only refills supplied by IN&MOTION and its distributors are certified. Do not use other references.

CHECKS AFTER VEST INFLATION

After each inflation of the vest, carry out the following checks before using your airbag vest for riding again:

  1. Check that the fabrics of the airbag vest are not damaged.
  2. Check that the plastic of the trigger system is not damaged

To deflate the airbag: flatten it by placing it on a clean surface and press on each tube with both forearms.

In case of damage or anomaly, do not use your Horse Pilot / IN&MOTION airbag and contact customer service, who will tell you if maintenance is necessary.

STEP N°1: REMOVE THE REFILL

Lower the two latches located on the side of the trigger using your thumb and index finger.

While keeping both latches lowered, place your free hand under the refill and your thumb on the trigger (as shown in the diagram).

By leveraging with your thumb, push the refill upward to remove it.

STEP N°2: UNSCREW THE CAP

Using the Allen key located on the back of the trigger, unscrew the cap until you see the "STOP" appear and stop before seeing the red marking.

If the red marking appears, screw the cap back in a little until the red marking is no longer visible.

STEP N°3: PUSH THE PISTON

Push piston No. 1 using the Allen key (provided on the back of the trigger) until the hole in the piston is aligned with the hole in the trigger.

WARNING:

Make sure the piston hole is "metal" colored. If the hole is black, the piston has not been pushed correctly.

The piston may have rotated on itself. If the piston hole is not visible, use the Allen key to realign the piston.

Still using the Allen key, push pistons No. 2, 3 and 4 into their housing.

STEP N°4: INSTALL THE PIN

Place the trigger pin in the piston hole, checking that it is properly flush.

While keeping the pin pressed with your thumb, screw the cap back on until the arrow on it is aligned with the one on the trigger.

STEP N°5: REPLACE THE REFILL

Replace the refill: Insert the new refill by clipping it onto the trigger. Then put the elastic back on to hold it in place.

STORAGE AND USE OF THE REFILL

The refill contains the gas cartridges (CO2) necessary for inflating the vest.

The refill must be handled and stored with care out of reach of children at temperatures not exceeding 45°C (113°F). Do not repair.

Do not puncture. Do not reuse the refill after inflation. Do not disassemble. Do not use or try with equipment other than the TWIST'AIR vest or without the TWIST'AIR vest.

REPLACING THE REFILL

In the absence of inflation, check the weight of the refill every year: 204 grams (+/- 6 grams). If the refill is below this weight, it must be replaced.
