On our website, each product page provides essential details about the materials used, the associated labels, and our packaging choices. This approach allows our customers to fully understand the environmental impact of their purchases, encouraging more responsible and informed consumption.

80% of the materials we use are Oeko-Tex® certified, a label that guarantees the absence of harmful substances for the environment and for consumers’ health, in compliance with the European REACH regulations.

Horse Pilot also uses materials made from recycled fibers, such as polyester and nylon, to design more responsible products.

Durable and repairable products

We offer a repair service in Cysoing, at our workshop. This service allows our customers to extend the lifespan of their equipment while reducing waste. Whether it’s a zipper, a seam, or a button, we do everything we can to give Horse Pilot products a new lease on life.

In 2024, more than 435 products were repaired, including 115 directly in our workshop. This service goes beyond simple repairs: it reflects our commitment to more responsible fashion, promoting care and durability rather than systematic replacement.

By extending the lifespan of our products, we reduce their environmental footprint. A simple action that makes all the difference for more mindful consumption.

Second-hand

With Ride Again, we created a platform dedicated to buying and selling pre-owned Horse Pilot items. Accessible via our website, it offers a new way to consume—more responsible and committed—by passing riding gear from rider to rider.

On Ride Again, you’ll find products offered by Horse Pilot, such as items with minor defects coming from sales tours or photoshoots, as well as listings from individuals who want to give their equipment a second life.

Since its launch, 450 second-hand products have already found new owners. Each transaction helps reduce waste and limit the environmental impact of our industry, while strengthening the equestrian community around shared values: a passion for horses and respect for our planet.

Access Ride Again

Upcycled collection

At Horse Pilot, eco-responsibility goes beyond our raw materials. We transform imperfect products and excess stock into unique new pieces. In 2024, more than 250 upcycled accessories were created.

We chose to give used pants a second life by turning them into belt bags, thanks to our partnership with Homonoia, a French company pioneering upcycling.

We also launched an initiative in collaboration with Les Papillons Blancs de Roubaix-Tourcoing and the ESAT of Wattrelos, to transform defective pants into stirrup covers. In 2023, 90 pants were given a new life, resulting in 390 pouches, all made by people with disabilities.
