The Winter Equestrian Festival – WEF 2025
The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) is the oldest and most prestigious equestrian circuit in the United States. From January to March, over eleven weeks, top riders in Hunters and show jumping compete for the enjoyment of all in this grand celebration of equestrian sport.
Each competition week runs from Wednesday to Sunday. Spectators can enjoy Saturday evening elite show jumping competitions, shopping at various boutiques, dining options, children’s activities, music, and other entertainment. Held at Wellington International in Wellington, Florida, the event is one of the best venues to witness the world’s top show jumping riders and their magnificent horses.
Wellington International, home of the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), spans over 60 hectares with 18 competition arenas, more than 250 permanent horse stalls, and multiple riding trails. Since its arrival in Wellington in 1974, it has hosted some of the largest and oldest Hunter and show jumping competitions in the United States, attracting thousands of riders from all 50 states and over 42 countries.
In addition to equestrian competitions, Wellington International offers VIP areas, numerous events, world-class shopping, and much more. Supported by its parent company, the Global Equestrian Group (GEG), Wellington International continues to focus on the future of equestrian sport, serving exhibitors, stakeholders, and the entire equestrian community.
