Diagnostics & Inspection

Our customer service department offers a comprehensive diagnostic check of your airbag to verify that it is functioning properly or to identify any potential issues.

An inspection may be recommended in the following situations:

  • after a significant fall
  • in the event of repeated deployments
  • if the airbag did not deploy in an abnormal situation
  • if the vest exhibits unusual behavior (inflation, deflation, etc.)
  • after exposure to extreme conditions (humidity, heat…)

An inspection ensures that your equipment is fully operational.


Inspection Process

When your airbag is brought in for service, it undergoes several checks:

  • testing of the inflation system and pressure resistance
  • inspection of the deployment mechanism
  • inspection of components (seams, fabric, technical elements)

These checks verify the product’s compliance and reliability before it is returned to service.


Repair & Maintenance

If a defect is detected, a repair may be offered.

Depending on the nature of the repair:

  • some repairs can be performed immediately
  • others require in-depth expertise at a specialized workshop

In all cases, a diagnosis is performed beforehand to determine the most appropriate solution.


Process for Service Requests

For all after-sales service requests:

  1. Fill out the after-sales service request form
  2. Describe the problem encountered in detail
  3. Attach the necessary documents (proof of purchase, photos, etc.)
  4. Wait for approval before shipping

All requests must be approved in advance to be processed.

Shipping Terms

  • Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Return shipping costs may be covered depending on the situation

Specific terms will be provided upon acceptance of the request.

Eligibility Requirements

After-sales service applies to products:

  • purchased through Horse Pilot or its distribution network
  • used under normal conditions

Any improper use or modification of the product may result in a refusal to process the claim.
