The Only 5* Eventing Competition in France
Experience the only 5* Eventing Competition in France and an extraordinary international driving competition: cross-country, show jumping, marathon... with the best riders and drivers in the world. A unique and breathtaking show.
The eventing competition consists of three scored phases:
-
The first phase is Dressage
Dressage forms the foundation for all equestrian disciplines, developing the horse-rider relationship and improving the horseβs abilities such as movement, suppleness, and balance. In competitions, performances consist of tests composed of classical movements and prescribed figures during exercises of increasing difficulty where the horse moves in different gaits.
-
The second phase is Show Jumping
This phase consists of completing a jumping course without faults. It requires technical skill to navigate the obstacles. Riders must adapt their horse's speed, stride, impulsion, and trajectory to successfully complete the course without penalties, considering the variety of obstacles, distances, angles, and curves.
-
The final phase is Cross-Country
This phase involves galloping across varied terrain such as fields, forests, trails, hills, and navigating obstacles designed to mimic natural settings: logs, barriers, uphill, downhill, road crossings, and water obstacles.
